Rubber production process

1. Rubber tapping:

The latex is stored in the milk ducts in the phloem of the bark, and the bark is cut open. The milk-like latex will flow out continuously by the turgor pressure of the milk duct itself and the thin cells around it. Rubber tapping is generally around 4 in the morning. At this time, the temperature is relatively low, the water in the gum tree is full, and the turgor effect of the cells is the largest in a day, and the rubber discharge is relatively smooth, so the output of rubber tapping in the early morning is high.

2. Glue collection:

Different seasons, different varieties, the length of the glue discharge time is very different, when most of the gum trees have broken drops, the glue can be collected, and the glue collection must be completed before the sun rises. The glue line left on the tree after collecting the fresh latex in the bowl and the remaining gel in the glue cup. It can generally be made into No. 10, No. 20 standard rubber, thin brown crepe film, mixed crepe film and oil-extended rubber.

3. Latex purification:

Latex purification is the removal of impurities in latex through filtration, centrifugal separation, and natural sedimentation. Impurities in rubber will reduce the performance of rubber products. Such as not resistant to tearing, non-abrasion, high heat generation, tire delamination, etc. For standard rubber, impurity content is a major indicator. Therefore, latex purification is a key measure to ensure the improvement of rubber quality.

4. Latex coagulation:

The purified latex is introduced into the coagulation tank and coagulated with acid. This acid-added coagulation process is currently widely used and is one of the important links affecting the quality of natural rubber. The coagulation method, coagulation concentration, and coagulation time of the latex will affect the plastic retention rate of the rubber. Rubber plasticity is of great significance to the process operation of rubber product production.

5. Thinning and creping:

The coagulated latex is mechanically rolled and dehydrated to become a thinner, uniform thick coagulum. This increases the surface area of ??the film and shortens the drying time. At the same time, the strength of the rubber material is increased and the purpose of obtaining a preliminary shape is beneficial to ensure the quality of further processing of the rubber material and improve production efficiency.

6. Granulation:

The rubber material is pelletized by a hammer mill, and the resulting particles have irregular shapes, pores, and rough surfaces, which improves the drying and packaging of the rubber material in the subsequent process. Through granulation, the physical properties and bulk density of the rubber compound are greatly improved. Save transportation, storage, and packaging space, and improve the commodity value and market competitiveness of processed rubber.

7. Drying:

Put the wet granular glue into the drying car for drying. The drying degree of granular rubber during processing will affect the volatile content of standard rubber. When the volatile content in the rubber is lower, the more difficult it is to grow mold during storage, the stronger the applicability in production, the lower the risk of scorching during product processing, the better the plasticizing effect, and the easier it is to produce High-quality rubber products.

8. Glue weighing:

If the temperature of the baked granular glue is still very high, it is necessary to wait for the heat to dissipate to the specified temperature when the glue is discharged to be weighed and packaged in time. In this way, the rubber is not easy to absorb moisture and return moisture and cause mold growth, which is conducive to long-term storage and improves the performance of the rubber. At present, the net weight of domestic full latex is 33.3kg or 40kg.

9. Press package:

Put the specified weight of granular glue into the packing machine to pressurize, the granular glue will change from a loose state to a compact rubber with a certain specification and a square shape. The strong rubber can be transported, stacked and stored better.

10. Packaging:

The plastic bag is double-packed in polyethylene film bag and polypropylene woven bag, which helps keep the rubber clean and dry, prevents contamination by foreign impurities during transportation and storage, and prevents the rubber from sticking to each other and contaminating dust when stacked .

11. Heap into the library:

The storage of plastic bags should be stacked in categories and levels. The stacking height is 4-6 layers, and the stack length is not limited. It is required to be well ventilated, dry, clean, and not leaking to avoid moldy and deterioration of the rubber. Fireworks should be strictly prohibited in the rubber warehouse, and flammable materials should not be stored nearby.
